Gerald L. Burchett Receives Professional Networking Community's Highest Honor
Gerald L. Burchett Named Industrial Sales Professional of the Year
GALLATIN, TN, July 18, 2011 /Religion PR News/ -- Gerald L. Burchett, Sales Representative for IVC Industrial Coatings Inc., has been named Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Industrial Sales. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named professionals of the year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements and leadership abilities.
With 28 years of professional experience, Gerald L. Burchett specializes in production efficiency and cost control. In 1994, he brought his talents to IVC Industrial Coatings, a manufacturer and distributor of powder, liquid and specialty coatings for commercial and consumer applications. In his current position, he is responsible for selling industrial coating and painting products, overseeing cost control on inventory and coating products, and ensuring customer satisfaction. He is also tasked with conducting yearly sales meetings for the company. Since joining IVC, Mr. Burchett played a significant role in increasing annual sales from $11 million to over $90 million. He attributes his success to his listening skills, ability to work with people, and focus on the goals that he sets for himself.
In addition to industry-related training, Mr. Burchett attended Tennessee Bible College and Nashville School of Preaching and Biblical Studies. He was honored with a Vendor of the Year Award in 1999 and was listed in Outstanding Young Men of America in 1983 and 1987.
