Halina Jarvis has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career.
RED DEER, AB, CANADA, March 27, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Halina Jarvis has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her outstanding professional career. As Director of Loaves and Fishes, as well as throughout her incredible career, Halina has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Established in 1991, Loaves and Fishes is a Benevolent Society that shares the love of Jesus by providing food for the hungry, refuge for the weary and comfort for the broken hearted. Their priorities are building self-esteem and confidence, providing a listening ear and prayer for the desperate. The organization's ultimate goal is to share Jesus, the greatest gift of all.
Loaves and Fishes provides counseling for victims of domestic violence and advises people about what programs are available to them. Substance abusers are given assistance in turning their lives around. They also provide school lunches to those in need and advise people on alternative housing opportunities.
Halina is responsible for managing all major aspects of the organization as well as overseeing the daily operations. She has 30 years of management experience combined with her extraordinary people skills. During her collegiate career, Halina attended college where she studied Business. In the time away from her busy schedule, she is an avid outdoors enthusiast who greatly enjoys gardening, swimming, and spending time with her 3 grandchildren.
