The Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church has been established in 1953 as a private company under the Baptist Church. As a religious organization, the company is dedicated to community services including counseling, guidance, and support.
Janis Harland is a dedicated and loyal person who has spent most of her life helping others. She has been with the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church for more than 33 years and she has totally devoted her time and resources to her mission as an Executive Administrator of the religious society that she is part of. Her vocation, devotion, modesty, and confidence in people have committed her to excellence in achieving her objective which implies counseling, home-going services, and wedding planning and guidance among others.
During her collegiate career, Janis Harland received a Master's Degree in Leadership and Organization from the American Intercontinental University. She has also attended the Prairie View A&M University. Janis has contributed to the growth of expansion of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and she has also played an instrumental role in strengthening the relationship of the church with the members of the community.
