H. Martin Rumscheidt Honored by Cambridge Who's Who
H. Martin Rumscheidt celebrates 27 years as a professor of systematic theology for the Atlantic School of Theology
DOVER, NH, August 27, 2010 /Religion PR News/ -- H. Martin Rumscheidt, Professor of Systematic Theology for the Atlantic School of Theology, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in theology.
With 27 years of experience as a professor of systematic theology for the Atlantic School of Theology, H. Martin Rumscheidt is responsible for researching and publishing work on German theology, the Holocaust and inter-church and inter-faith relationships, lecturing, conducting seminars on the relations between Judaism, Christianity and the Holocaust, and teaching history regarding the theology of the church. Mr. Rumscheidt also received a fellowship for his postgraduate work from Germany and Switzerland. He is currently writing small chapters and articles as well as translating major theological texts into English. He became involved in his profession through his educational background, and he attributes his success to his commitment to develop relationships between Europe and North America.
Mr. Rumscheidt received his Doctor of Divinity from Victoria University in 2002 and his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from McGill University in 1967. In addition to his formal education, he became an ordained minister through The United Church of Canada in 1961. He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, the Canadian Theological Society, and the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion.
