Stanford Who's Who Praises The Extraordinary Work Of Fundraising CEO

Morris Stuart has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable work for the community.

    RINGWOOD, VIC, AUSTRALIA, May 1, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Morris Stuart has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of his remarkable work for the community. As Chairman and CEO of The Mutunga Partnership has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be among the best.

The Mutunga Partnership is committed to bringing hope by enabling individuals and communities living in chronic poverty in Africa and the Caribbean to transform their lives and circumstances by their own efforts. Through a process of training and empowerment, and the provision of investment resources for poor micro-entrepreneurs, the Partnership is committed to the total spiritual, political, social and economic transformation of their communities.

The organization has financed over 1200 entrepreneurships. They have also created four to five thousand jobs. Morris oversees all operations and is responsible for every area of business management.

Morris Stuart is a Pastor, theologian, social scientist and teacher. From 1982 to 2003 he served as Pastor of Truth and Liberation Concern, which is a missional community church in Melbourne. Morris has had a varied vocation in Christian service since graduating from The London Bible College in 1970. He has over thirty years experience in Christian ministry. In the 1970's he worked as a student missioner in schools universities and colleges; as an inner-city evangelist; as a director of Youth Ministries; as a Television presenter of short programs, and as a bible teacher in Britain, New Zealand and Australia.

Mr. Stuart is the author of two books looking at the church and society, and two monographs, one of which tells the story of economic and social development in poor communities in Bangladesh, India, Ethiopia and Kenya; the other examines the experience of Black migrants in Britain.

Morris also has a passion for music and has written two musicals as well as produced and directed a third. He has trained and led community choirs, and is a member of the a Capella sextet Wa Mutunga, which has performed in several Melbourne a Capella festival events, as well as on the ABC and Community radio. Morris also led a Capella workshops in Melbourne, Daylesford, Bendigo, Alice Springs and other locations.

Morris and his wife Barbara have been married for 38 years and are parents of four adult children aged 28 to 34.
