Reverend Steven C. Mendoza received four honorable discharges for his participation
in US Military Service
FORT MONMOUTH, NJ, May 27, 2010 /Religion PR News/ -- Reverend Steven C. Mendoza, Director of Religious Education for the United States Army, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in religious service.
Rev. Mendoza utilizes 15 years of mission field experience to excel as the director of religious education for the United States Army. He promotes religious activities, organizes events and religious gatherings, and develops programs. Formerly, he worked as a bi-vocational missionary in South Korea, as an English teacher at the university level and as an English ministry pastor. He is currently volunteering as a unit victim advocate for the United States Army. He is also in the process of working to be a senior member with the Civil Air Patrol as a Character Development Instructor and eventually, a Civil Air Patrol, Chaplain.
Reverend Mendoza received his Master of Divinity from International Theological Seminary (2003), his Master of Missiology from Kosin University, Busan, Korea (2001) and his Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Bethany University of Santa Cruz , formerly Bethany Bible College (1989).
He is an ordained minister with International Ministerial Fellowship, has been a Missionary since (2002) and is in the process of changing with IMF, to having an Ecclesiastical Endorsement as a Chaplain for the Civil Air Patrol. He also has certification as a Christian Chaplain with the International Federation of Christian Chaplains, Inc. and is a certified victim advocate (SARC). In addition, he has a specialized chaplain Ecclesiastical Endorsement with Conservative Baptist of America. He has life memberships with the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States and Disabled America Veterans organizations. In the future, he intends to become a full-time pastor of a multi-cultural church in America, to promote racial equality. The focus is for different races/cultures to come together in one place to worship God. To have fellowship; grow in caring, loving, respectful, Christ-like relationships.
