Thomas is also involved with the Universal Church of Religious Freedom which is a nondenominational ministry dedicated to the science of religious freedom and to promote motivation to satisfy the mental and spiritual needs of individuals according to their own personal beliefs. They are authorized to ordain and offer a basic package to individuals who seek that designation.
During his educational career, Thomas earned a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Kentucky in 1947. He went on to receive an LLD from Vanderbilt University in 1951. From there, he continued his studies earning a Doctorate Degree in Religion from the Missouri Seminary as well as a Doctorate Degree in Divinity and a PhD from the Universal Seminary.
