CHARLOTTE, NC, March 26, 2010 /Religion PR News/ -- Katherine Elisabeth Bowen, Executive Director of Spacious Places Ministry, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in her career.
As the Executive Director of Spacious Places Ministry, she is responsible for the design and implementation of classes that provide instruction to women in areas from health issues to computer technology. Spacious Places Ministry exist to serve the needs primarily of women, however, men have enjoyed and participated in some of the classes. Katherine's two signature and most popular spiritual growth classes are Unspeakable Joy which is a study of Philippians and Worship in this House which is a study of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Katherine has designed and teaches classes on such health issues as diabetes, breast health, and stress relief as well as computing classes from beginner to advanced. The class "Pathway to Purpose", a systematic look at discovering God's purpose in our lives will be available as an online class in December 2010. Ms. Bowen is also the owner of Online Office Assistants.com. Katherine is also the lead worshipper (worship leader) for Priests of Praise Worship Band, a worship evangelism team from diverse social, economic, racial, educational, ethnic, and denomination backgrounds.
Ms. Bowen is a member of the National Education Association, the North Carolina Association of Educators, the Society for Human Resource Management, Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education, the Association for Educational Communications and Technology, the Council for Educational Facility Planners International, Alpha Chi Honor Society, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Ms. Bowen has a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management and a Masters Degree in Education specializing in Instructional Technology (Design). She is a doctoral student at Northcentral University.
