Legend of Wesak World Healing Ceremony and Earth Day Celebration Hike sponsored by Spiritual Unity Movement

An invitation to join in the special Legend of Wesak World Healing Ceremony plus an Earth Day Celebration Hike to be led by Rev. Basia Durnas.

    THOUSAND OAKS, CA, April 10, 2010 /Religion PR News/ -- The "Legend of Wesak World Healing Ceremony", sponsored by the Spiritual Unity Movement (SUM), will be presented at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at "The Onion" Sacred Dome 9550 Haskell Ave. in North Hills (near the I-405 and Nordoff). SUM is an all-denominational, non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating the truth that exists at the heart of all faith traditions.

Keynote speaker this month, Rev. Basia Durnas, is an intuitive visionary, an empathy and a natural healer. Her spiritual training began at the age of 3 when Ascended Masters came to instruct her in the balanced use of The 3-Divine Forces of Love, Wisdom & Power. She is a Master Healer of Chinese Medical Qi-Gong, Religious Science Minister, Certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Trainer, Reiki Master, a life-long student of Gnostic Esoteric Work including The Kabbalah, Eastern & Western Philosophy of Sexual Alchemy and Sacred Sexuality.

The special ceremonial music will be presented by the amazing Spirit-based duo Gaia Mama. Florence Riggs and Kabbalah Bach who will be providing ceremonial/meditation music using instrumentation consisting of Tibetan singing bowls, gong, chimes, bells, voice, and temple chanting. They have played numerous occasions for our ceremonies. Each has been individually involved in sound healing for over 25 years. Gaia Mama has been a sound healing/meditation music team for the past 5 years.

There will also be an "Earth Day Celebration Hike" on Saturday April 24, 2010 at 10am to 1pm. Reverend Basia Durnas will facilitate the hike, which will focus on communing with Mother Earth and learning how to communicate with nature spirits. The divine energy within rocks, plants, trees, water, wind, etc, want to be of service and help us in our lives. Take this opportunity to learn to communicate with the elemental spirits of nature.
