Terry C. Blevins Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
Rev. Blevins serves on the Advisory Board for the Healthy Families Halifax program.
HALIFAX, VA, March 12, 2009 /Religion PR News/ -- Rev. Terry C. Blevins, Minister at Berry Hill Presbyterian Church and Halifax Presbyterian Church, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of religious service.
With 12 years of experience in religious service, Rev. Blevins has devoted his career to preaching and sharing the word of God. He serves as the solo pastor for two churches, educates, visits hospitals, counsels parishioners and organizes community outreach programs. He attributes his success to his faith in God and love for his profession. In addition to his duties at his churches, Rev. Blevins serves on the Advisory Board for the Healthy Families Halifax program. He serves as an Associate Chaplain at the Halifax Regional Hospital and is a former President of the Halifax Ministerial Association.
Rev. Blevins received his Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Halifax-Charlotte County Red Cross Chapter and as President and Board member of the Good Samaritan Community Clothes Closet and Food Pantry. He hopes to continue developing the congregations of both churches and expanding community involvement.
The present Berry Hill Presbyterian Church was built by the Bruce family on the former Berry Hill Plantation as a place of worship for their employees about 1914. The present Halifax Presbyterian Church was built in 1949 on Cedar Lane in Halifax, VA.
