Ms. Donoghue has 15 years of experience in adult and neonatal intensive care nursing, caring for high-risk newborns and the primary care needs of family health, with Virginia prescriptive authority. She also teaches second-grade Sunday school classes at Parkway Baptist Church and attributes her success to her family, nursing experiences, and faith in God. In 2008, she received her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. Ms. Donoghue received her certification in neonatal intensive care nursing and is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau.
