Martin Brennan Joins Host Christina Pratt Once Again to Talk About Healing Ancestral Spirits on the February 11 Edition of Why Shamanism Now? Radio Show on Voice America
Christina Pratt, teacher, author, and founder of The Last Mask Center for Shamanic Healing, will be talking with guest Martin Brennan about Ancestral Helping Spirits on her radio show "Why Shamanism Now: A Practical Path to Authenticity".
RHINEBECK, NY, February 08, 2009 /Religion PR News/ -- Streaming live on the Voice America Network (www.voiceamerica.com) on Wednesday, February 11 at 2 p.m. Pacific time/5 p.m. Eastern time, Brennan, a contemporary American dislocated as many are from their roots, will share his expertise in finding and cultivating a powerful working relationship with his Ancestors. "Throughout shamanic cultures worldwide there exists a deep respect and understanding of our connectedness and indebtedness to our Ancestors. It is the duty of the living to live in such a way that brings healing to our Ancestral lines", says Brennan as he and Pratt discuss Ancestral Helping Spirits.
In shamanism, it is the role of the Ancestors to remember the role of the living to heal and change, and where necessary, to live differently. In a healthy shamanic relationship, the Ancestors are available to the living sharing not only what they learned from living, but their perspective on their choices now that they are part of the Great Oneness. Pratt and Brennan will explore the critical difference between an Ancestor and a ghost, and why funeral practices are critically important.
Christina Pratt is an authentic, non-traditional contemporary shaman. In practice since 1990, she specializes in mending the soul and transforming the parts of life that feel impossible.
