ELGIN, IL, February 05, 2009 /Religion PR News/ -- Celebrate the Joys of Conservative Judaism at Congregation Shirat Shalom in Elgin. Friendly, participatory Shabbat services are held every Saturday at 9:45am, and are followed by a community kiddush luncheon. Services include a spirited Torah discussion, focusing on the "parsha of the week."
This week's Torah portion is B'shallach, where the Israelites cross the Sea of Reeds to freedom.
