Dove Award Winning Songwriter in Concert for Women in Paducah, KY
Kim McLean, an award winning gospel songwriter, kicks off the new year in a refreshing night of story and song at Paducah Church of the Nazarene, Jan. 10th.
PADUCAH, KY, January 08, 2009 /Religion PR News/ -- "A Night of Music and Testimony" from Dove Award winning songwriter/artist Kim McLean will be the focus of a women's ministry 2009 kick-off program at Paducah Church of the Nazarene this Saturday night with doors opening for dinner at 4pm, January 10th.
This fun and uplifting night of songs and stories for women is open to all women of all denominations and both members and non-members of churches. Kim McLean is "Pastor Kim" on WSIX-Nashville's Country Spirit program and known for her classic songwriting on songs like Sierra's No Stone To Throw (The Maggie Song), The Martin's Count Your Blessing, and Misty Freeman's What Judas Didn't Know.
Also an accomplished songwriter in the country music market, Kim has had songs recorded by Tim McGraw, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, and more. Her songs have been used on CBS' JAG, NBC's West Wing, and ABC's Hope & Faith. Her cornerstones as an artist herself include a duet with Dolly Parton called, Angels and Eagles.
Covering tough subjects like motherhood and empty nest, love and divorce, dealing with substance abuse, and Kim's own near fatal fight with anorexia. This is a perfect night for mothers, daughters, sisters, and girlfriends to get real and feel, lightening the load of the past with a God message of pure grace. Casual dress is encouraged and seating is first come first served.
Doors open at 4pm for dinner, with the concert following.
